What happened last year? Bama did the sane thing. ucking rematch from same conference. That will never happen again.

I don't get the LES hype.
I'll bet you get winning 81% of your games in the toughest conference in college football.

The guy is an average coach that gets by with great talent.
Who brings that talent here?

Who else should've been in the title game that year?

Very very average coach.
This average coach has the same winning percentage as Spurrier did when he was in his hey day at Florida in the 90's.

Honestly, no one.
He's the perfect coach for LSU. Wins enough to keep fans happy, and is frustrating enough that they can still complain.
Let's face it. It's way more fun to complain while you win than when you lose.

Miles is a good coach not an outstanding coach but a coach that can delegate well, recruit well and overall can keep LSU as a top 10 legit national program. However he is nowhere near Saban's level. There is a lot of separation between Saban and the rest of the coaches in college football. Personally I think he is bored.

West Virgina ? I would rather us lose every game for the rest of my life than have that pedophile looking worm coaching us. Seriously if you look at a picture of Chevy Chase ... And think I this guy was a pedophile he would look just like Dana H. No offense to Chevy Chase. This post is totally irrelevant I just hate him

This crap is funny. you can be a top 10 legit national program on a consistant basis and not be a great coach. This will probably get this coach in the hall of fame but not be a great coach.

Compared to Saban is considered a good coach not a great coach.. The program itself allows a coach to be successful at lsu.

nothing wrong of disagreement. My biggest issue with Miles besides the yearly bloopers ie clock management is the fact that he hasn't developed a QB since he has been in Baton Rouge. I have a big issue with that.

I would take Saban as my coach everyday of the week over Miles. I do think Miles is a better man personally. Miles is a product of his assistant coaches. If he hires well his teams do well. If he doesn't his teams struggle. He is a good coach to work for so most of the time he hires well. Miles did inherit a top knotch program so it isn't completely fair to compare Gary Patterson for example to Miles. What would Miles success be at TCU with limited resources? I can't answer that question with any confidence. What would Gary Patterson do with LSU resources? Gary Patterson would have some success at LSU in my opinion I am just not sure how much.

Name a QB in the last 100 years that WAS developed here at LSU. Not saying there aren't any, but it's certainly a VERY small list.

Urban Meyer
Nick Saban and his well paid for asst coaches.
I have coach Miles at number 3 . Need to fix offense somehow.

These fools need to get real. Everyone knows this should be a short freaking list. Miles is Top 3. Imo, he is second best.

I can name 4.
1. Hodson
2. Mauck
3. Flynn
4. Ro
I don't know if you can count Jones and Y.A. Title.

Anybody who wishes for another coach best be careful what they wish for. There are many examples in sports, and certainly in the history of LSU football, of new coaches bringing a program down instead of elevating it. We're doing fine with Les.
Posted on 10/24/12 at 4:14 pm to bastropbham
which is the biggest reason why I never called for firing Les. He has done a good job here and bringing in a new coach doesn't guarantee success

As long as Chavis is our D-coordinator, any good recruiter with a solid offensive mind and good clock-managing skills could win 9 games per year with this team. It takes a motivational genius like Miles, though, to have them competing for titles every year. Go Les!
