Name which hasn't been mentioned: Johnny Hector RB. Mac lost the New Iberia RB to Texas A&M in 1978.

Dunn went to FSU only because that fricking abortion of a coach wouldn't allow him to live at home close to his little siblings.......Hudson would have ruined him as he did Toomer, Davis, etc.

I love when Charles comes on here and drops the knowledge. How do you really feel?

So, it appears, the top 5, in this order;

1 Peyton Manning
2 Marshall Faulk
3 RG3
4 Warrick Dunn
5 Eli Manning

Why would Eli be on the list? We won a national title while he was in college.

I would say Josh Booty out of highschool.

True. If we had a great qb over last 4 yrs we may have won 2 national titles.

Ike Hilliard

He wanted to play wide receiver and LSU said defensive back.
One of these was wrong.

Definitely, Marshall Faulk. He has to be the best LA RB to come out of the state. If he had been a prospect now, there is no way we would have been hard headed enough to say, "We only see you as a DB." He would have had his chance at RB
the only negative i see if faulk would have come to lsu, is it would have saved hallmans a$$ for a few more years. so probably no dinardo, therefore probably no saban. but on the other hand , he would have been huge.

I'm surprised to make it to page 4 without Kordell Stewart being nominated.

I think Archie beat us more than we beat him didn't he? 2 to 1 maybe? Anyway, not sure it would have mattered that particular night but he did have one arm in a sling in that game.
