The 'biggest' recruit LSU lost out on that could have changed our program?

The thread, "why were we so bad in the 90's" got me thinking. Someone said that we didn't get Brett Favre.

Name recruits that we had a legitimate shot at that could have changed our progrma. I've heard the stories about the Manning brothers and Warrick Dunn. Anybody bigger than those 3?

Not necessary in the 90's, but anytime.

Dunn went to FSU only because that fricking abortion of a coach wouldn't allow him to live at home close to his little siblings.......Hudson would have ruined him as he did Toomer, Davis, etc.

It would have changed our program alright...but not for the better.

If he would have stayed in state, he would have lived up to his potential

Not really......it's just not as clear cut. Hallman would've been in the way of a star.

To me it would have to a qb. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if perriloux goes to Texas and we get colt McCoy. How about we get ej manual and pass on Jordan Jefferson?

Joe McKnight.

As it turned out, he could have changed our program for the worse by coming here

Definitely, Marshall Faulk. He has to be the best LA RB to come out of the state. If he had been a prospect now, there is no way we would have been hard headed enough to say, "We only see you as a DB." He would have had his chance at RB.
