The Euros are happy.
They were irritated that an American was beating them at their race.
The French, particularly.
They didn't seem irritated at Greg LeMond. You know, THE FIRST American and non-European to win the Tour de France.

Pretty shitty of the USADA
Lance just wanted to be left alone after constantly fighting.

frick Lance Gunderson. Dude cheated in every aspect of his life.

He has been stripped of his titles by the USADA, which has much authority over who won the Tour de France as the French Miner's Union has a say over who is elected President of the United States.
Lance is a douche, but he's also a douche who has still never failed a test against a field of cyclists in which a near majority have failed tests. In short, let it go.
I think anti-dopers are doing more harm to sport than dopers at this point.

I really don't care about his titles. I just enjoy seeing a douche get blasted.
And I believe that I've pretty much gone on record on this site about my lack of concern regarding PEDs.

They loved him.
Of course they also saw him as French.
LeMond
And he wasn't a brash Texan who rode with Texas or American flags.
LeMond was polite and barely American to them...all they had to do was read their major daily newspaper.

Lance Armstrong's wife helps him get through the hardest thing you can possibly go through.
And then when he's better and he gets famous and popular, he dumps her arse because he wants to frick Sheryl Crow.
Screw that guy.

Did he dope? More than likely.
Did he fail any administered drug tests during competion? No.
So who cares. Looking at the podiums (even top 10) during his 7 TDFs read like a whos-who of banned or disgraced cyclists who actually DID fail drug tests during competition.
I like how the plan will likely give most of these victories to Ullrich now who not only was busted for perfomance enhancing doping but also for off season recreational drug use.
What a great day for the TDF to crown him new champion 13 years late. What a role model to show ol' Lance a thing or 2.
I also like how others who ACTUALLY DID FAIL drug tests have been allowed to keep some of their TDF titles, aka Contador.
Good job USADA. You have successfully managed to...what exactly? Who's the winner here exactly?
When I looked up "hubris", "out of control ego", "abuse of power" and "WIN at all costs" guess what...?
It pulled up a photo of Travis Tygart.
Who would have thought?

Barry Bonds never tested positive either and he took HGH.
Baseball didn't test for HGH.

There are ways to beat the piss test. Just b/c he never tested tested positive does not mean he didn't use them.
You dont understand. You get off the bike, and walk straight into a tent and piss in the cup. Cycling has one of the most expansive testing programs in the world. Not to mention, they keep samples on file and will retest months/years after the fact. Despite all this, he has still never failed a test.
The Fed just finished a probe on him, and he was acquitted. You mean to tell me the USADA had a sample the was "Fully consistent with blood doping" yet noone else has been able to come up with this?
They have had the better part of a decade to make accusations against Lance. At some point, you have to say this is just a witch hunt.

the USADA probably has the same authority as me to strip a Tour De France title
