When I saw the 11am time I thought 
Then I remembered Monty Pythons song "always look on the bright side of life" and thought "11am means we'll be the first team in the CWS!"
So guys, sit back, enjoy that LSU will be Omaha bound approx 2pm CST Saturday and watch the rest of the teams fight it out for the right to play us!

LSU Engineering professor with Masters and Ph. D from Stony Brook... (probably not a baseball fan though)
i will say this... if a random team from all of Division 1 was picked to play LSU in Alex Box for the right to go to Omaha, it doesn't get any more random than Stony Brook. they only completed their Division 1 transition in 1999.

Planned ahead and volunteered to work nights monday-thursday of last week and this week.
