McNitt versus UCF:

6.0 IP... gave up 5 hits and 8 runs (6 earned) with 3 walks and 3 Ks plus he hit a batter.

He's a 5-10 sophomore RHP who tops out in the mid-80's...put the ball in play since the defense behind him can be shaky.

I took off for a wedding last week. We're just really busy so I can't do it 2 Fridays in a row.

Saw a few of the Stony Brook players at Ninfa's earlier this afternoon (12:15 ish). Staying in the hotel to the back left of the building with I-10 at your back, so they said. They handled the ball busting like good sports.

I am definitely just appreciative we are in the position we are. Been a hell of a season and I cannot wait until first pitch. Geaux Tigers!!

This has got to be a shock to those players.

The fact that they were recognized by another team's fan should alert them to what they'll see today. The weather and Friday start time will keep the Box from being at capacity, but it will still be far more than they've ever been around.

I'm going with 8,700 in actual attendance.

broham-your point is correct, however I was looking at the bigger picture. ESPN has no doubt contributed much to the enhancement of college football, however in the long run I see some potential damage that will be irreversible. Hopefully I am wrong and would not bet the farm on my assertion. Just making a minor point, so don't get your panties in an uproar.
