The vegas line was moving away from Bama as the game approached. That is, more money flowed to the Bama side as the game approached. I know everyone thinking it, so I'll just say it. Maybe Miles and some players friends and relatives bet the farm on Bama and they assured themselves of a big payday so they could live comfortably for a very long time.
i doubt this

My guess - it's the NOLA crew vs the rest of the team and the head of the bunch is JJ.

this is my problem... i dont care who my best friend is... if you suck at QB we can hang out after practice and after the game but I dont want you on the field so sorry.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bobby Hebert break the lockerrom story wide open as a parting gift to Les Miles for not putting T-Bob in.

Why? I absolutely do not believe that gamblers go to Miles or the team before the game to get them to throw it. That is stupid.

But, I am starting to believe that something happened before the game that sucked the life out of this team. It was hinted at before the game even and then the big money moved. We all saw what we saw, which was inexplicable.

But, I don't know. Maybe LSU players and coaches suddenly fell apart at every level for no reason. Bama was good, but they are not that good.

Yeah I don't think Miles did anything. Miles makes $4 million so that's just stupid.

But I said during the game that it looked like the fix was in on some of these guys. Looked very suspicious to me.

all i know is that when Jarrett Lee was the QB in the early part of the season, I saw Reuben Randle smiling alot... mainly because he was getting alot of opportunities.

After the Bama game Randle still had some opportunities but not nearly as many.

I think Randle was a Lee supporter as all of or WR's should have been.

On Monday afternoon, Finebaum reports that he heard something very disturbing about LSU that had happened that gave him pause. I thought he was talking about LSU players being at a strip bar or something, so I ignored it. He did not elaborate.

I hear that Danny Sheridan said something happened before the game that caused him to move all his money to Alabama.

The team came out as lifeless as I have ever seen them from the opening kickoff on. The whole game was a disaster and we did not play like LSU at any point.

JJ plays like JJ does and no QB change ever happens.

Miles sounds like someone died after the game. He has no fire at all, no passion, he is just mumbling his words.

We are now hearing about a major blow up after the game in the locker room. Players came out saying that Lee should have been put in.

These are just the things that are being reported and that we know. Something happened

agree! This team was an emotionless blob. Not the team we watched all season.

That is my point. Bama played great, but what did they really do. We passed it downfield, what, like 3 times all game? And, by downfield I mean more than 10 yards. EVERY play was right at the line of scrimmage and we didn't change a thing. We played right into Bama's hands. JJ couldn't make a decent decision. But, the coaches are not idiots. Why did they play that hand? What happened?

Right. This is obvious (at least to me).

However the bad part of this is, there should be no favoritism on TEAM. But it started with Miles. Miles showed apparent favoritism toward JJ and that's what divided the team. The division does not rear its ugly head until a team is challenged. Bama exposed the apparent division.

Did the team have to move hotels the night before the game? I heard from a person who doesn't follow football but with decent access to sources that there were threats made to the team in some way. I don't necessarily believe this but wanted to get this out there in case it has some truth to it and my source got their lines crossed.

Maybe Miles told the team, he was headed to the NFL.

If he was headed to the NFL we would probably already know about it

And there is no way he would mention that right before the game
