So why would he hashtag les miles then?

I don't understand.

ETA: And why do you tweet personal shite or argue over twitter. Facebook messages and texts aren't public use them.

I think it was just referencing Les Miles' famous line from his press conference a few years back.

I'm not saying anything went down... but just throwing it out there...

Me and my family walked over to the Hilton right before the team loaded the bus and rode over to the superdome. Let me just say, not ONE player looked up/ready for this game. While the players walked on to the bus and we the fans were cheering, going crazy, chanting "L S U", and just getting emotionally fired up for the game, I couldn't quite tell from the player's facial expressions if whether they were EXTREMELY focused, or if they're moms had just been shot and killed. They literally looked drained/lifeless. I specifically remember one player as he sat down on the bus, put his head down against the window and not even look out the window towards the crowd. Also, not but 3-4 players i remember out of the whole team as they boarded the bus glanced at us cheering. It was really odd. Almost spooky. I mean I don't expect them to be hootin and hollerin and making a big deal out it, but, it was NOT like what you usually see when the team walks down victory lane. They looked extremely tight or nervous, and didn't seem right at all.

Anyways, not saying or trying to fuel a rumor, but this just what i witnessed and thought i would share. Maybe someone else who was there would agree with me.

Damn it. So throwing it down the field WOULD have worked!! And people said Lee wouldn't have made a difference...

Wow. Well, that is what I saw in the first half - really from the opening kickoff. Very sad. If something happened, it will get out.

I'm not denying we got out played out coached all that. But something must be said to a team that had confidence, swagger and attitude out the roof to be completely DEAD from the start of the game.

I just.....WTF HAPPENED!

maybe they were drugged...someone slipped something in their food or water or something. would probably explain how Vegas was so confident...

I only had one explanation really......it looked like a fix was on. Maybe some of the players knew it and just gave up. That was the only reasonable explanation for grownups laying down like they did the other night.

Oh stop this stupid shite already. There are plenty of ways for grownups to lay down that have nothing to do with corruption. Please don't embarrass yourself.

The big shift in the Vegas line the night before the game is what gives life to all of these stories and rumors. It seemed very odd, and then for the team to look like they did and the coaches to coach (or not) the way they did...

He was at the game.
He has motive, but did he have opportunity?

a little "something" in the pre-game meal that would dull their senses...something to slow em down a bit...

only wish they would do a blood or urine test right after to see if there were traces of something...this entire team seemed tired, flat, disinterested and so did their coach

did NOT look like LSU

The vegas line was moving away from Bama as the game approached. That is, more money flowed to the Bama side as the game approached. I know everyone thinking it, so I'll just say it. Maybe Miles and some players friends and relatives bet the farm on Bama and they assured themselves of a big payday so they could live comfortably for a very long time.

This could quite possibly be the stupidest thing ever said on the Rant.

This is the only thing in here that has merit. Something will come out eventually.

Sounds like a team full of freshman and sophmores playing in a national championship game with an undefeated season on the line. A lot of pressure on guys who were supposed to be a year away. Everyone-the coaches the players and the fans-seemed uptight to me. Hopefully this will motivate them and not turn them off on the coaches.

I know we didn't have the same swagger but I didn't see a "broken" defense out there monday night. They fought their arses off and kept us in the game despite the lack of penalties on 'bama and some stellar throws from aj mccarron.

Honestly don't think the offense would have been that bad either if we could've passed the ball at all. From the upper decks I saw we had Wr's open frequently and if we had completed a few of those you woulda seen some swag from the offense cuz it wouldnve opened up SOME kind've running game besides JJ

Yea, Les needed the cash. That man makes more money every two weeks than most of us do all year. I'm sure he's cash strapped, looking for a quick buck.

For us older fans, and remember im taking nothing from Bama as they were and ovbiously the best team in the nation, but you cant tell me that that was the same team that we saw for 13 previous games and dont give me the Rematch BS. I would buy that if it was just another Fruit Salad Bowl game, but come on man this is for all the marbles, this is for the crystal ball , National Championship etc. Something happened , I dont know what but something is rotten in Denmark and some investigative reporting needs to find out what it was. Again for us older fans reminds me when I was at LSU of the Louisville-LSU basketball game when apparently Macklin and Dewayne Astronaut Scales got into it before the game and we were just listless agains Louisville although we had been picked by a lot of experts to win the game. I dont know what but you will never convice me that we played and gave it our all this past Monday night. Again congrats to Bama and take nothing away from them but 21-0 and what easily could have been 35-0 . Come on man , I dont believe it.

Dreaux said the same thing during pre game warmups. Im up here in Montana and thinking, maybe Dreaux just missied something. This is the crystal ball, national championshiop they got to be fired up. Dreaux was so right. My wife who hardly knows sports much less football. She says to me after the first run back. "Doesnt even look like he's running full speed and he was tackled so easy." I don know what was up but someting. I would hate to think that we were just scared.

We used to hear about Les playing poker in the casinos. Maybe he DOES need the cash!

Add this to the other unsubstantiated rumors:
Les to NFL news leaking out.
Updyke drugs team meal.
Stolen Playbook (was it the "Secret" Playbook?)
Relatives of players betting big because the "fix" was in.
Locker room race war.
J Lee banging Smacker and/or Kathy.
Les loves JJ.
Et fricking cetera!

Here's another (semi-plausible!) explanation:
We got our nuts whipped by a team that prepared and executed better than we did.
Hmmmmm, makes you wonder....
