rating the hamburgers in NOLA Metro

hamburgers are not something I recommend when eating out simply because they are so simple to make at home, and few places are nearly as good as the one you easily make at home. That said, here are my favorite hamburger restaurants.
1) Cowbell, Riverbend: after a long and hard look, Cowbell's perfectly salted and grilled meat on a soft roll is better than my own burger.
2) Beachcorner, Mid-City: not a fan of the atmosphere at all, but what a juicy burger.
3) Lakeview Harbor, Lakeview: consistent, thick, good meat. It's the same burger as Port O Call without the crowds.
4) Snug Harbor, Frenchmen similar burger to LH, but a little more expensive. Makes up for it with the warmth of jazz filling the rafters.
5) Yo Mama's, French Quarter: the best burger in the FQ. Not a fan of the atmosphere, but the burger is good.
6) Gott Gourmet, Garden District: a pleasant atmosphere with an equally pleasant burger.
7) Houston's, Metairie: I look down on myself for saying this, but it's true: Houston's makes a good burger.
8) Jucy Lucy, Mid-City:
9) Port O Call: the burger itself is good, but I don't like the dusty atmosphere, the lines, and those cheap bacon bits.
10) Lager's, Metairie: tastes like my own, just not as good.
I'm not very fluent on many burger joints because I've probably only ordered burgers at ten other restaurants. I didn't think them worthy of mentioning.

I'm only interested in West Bank and North Shore burgers. Rate those.

so are you rating the actual burgers or the burger establishments? pick one.

BooKoo BBQ has a burger i would rank in my top 3-5

Can't argue with Cowbell being #1. Mondo makes a great burger too. Those 2 would be my #1 and #2.
Capdeville is solid...probably deserves top 10.
I think LV Harbor is completely overrated.
Love Houston's burger.

I don't know about the northshore, but I find the WestBank a bit weak for burgers.
There's the Bestbank Burger at the Dry Dock -- okay, but hardly anything special. There's Ruby Reds, which used to be on the Eastbank, which is really unimpressive to me. There's a nasty old Ground Patti, that's a shell of its former self. And that's about all I can think of.

Juicy Lucy's interests me. Just looked it up & it's gotten good reviews. I will have to check this place out soon.

So are 3 and 4 rated higher than 5 only because of atmosphere?

9) Port O Call:
This amuses me as they are all the same burger.
ETA: cowbell sucks

I wasn't too impressed with my burger at cowbell.
Ate at Tru Burger on Sunday and that was pretty damn good.

I haven't been craving a burger lately but my next burger will either be MVB or Company Burger, whenever either one opens up.

MVB
Any indication on where or when they're opening?

The Hi Hat burger at Hi Hat is really, really good. Might be my number one. I can't wait until MVB opens back up. I have yet to true their burger. Boo Koo is also very good. I like GB's better than any of the Harbor burgers.

I swear, I don't understand the obsession of rating burgers. You have to be a special, special person to eff up a burger.

Burger market looking very saturated right now. Have an opportunity but a few years off. Might just come back with something completely different in fall.
Plus our burger is incredibly easy to make at home. I'll be glad to give you the recipe
