What'd you think? I thought it was kind of OK, but pretty uneven. The Flight of the Conchords guy was funny in an Aldous Snow kind of way, but not as over the top.

i laughed alot but i also cringed.
uncomfortable situations make me uncomfortable, so i was uncomfortable when the characters were in uncomfortable situations.

I thought it was pretty brutal. Not many funny moments, the movie just seemed to drag.
The title is Dinner for Schmucks, but only about 30 minutes of the film is the actual dinner. It took way too long to set up Paul Rudd and Steve Carell's characters.

Would have to agree with this. I watched it in parts cause I couldnt finish it in one sitting. Just seemed to drag and not flow well.

I agree with this. We saw it in the theater, and I left wishing that I had waited for the DVD/Blu-ray release.

I thought this movie was terrible and I'm a huge fan of Rudd and Carrell.
Totally sucked.

The dinner scene made the movie. Without it the movie is a big ball of uncomfortable comedy fail.

I watched it this weekend and didn't care for it. A couple of funny parts, but bad for the most part.
I strongly dislike Paul Ruud.

terrible, terrible movie.
I generally dislike movies whose plot is driven solely by the beyond-believable idiocy of a main character.
Ill sum it up: idiot causes man and girlfiend to completely ruin their careers. Slight feel-good moment when man stands up for idiot, even though doing so means he is simultaneously putting himself poor house.

It had moments but so many of the characters were so over the top I couldn't find it funny as much as stupid.
For me the funniest scene involved the dude from Flight of the Concords and his character.

I liked it. I wouldn't have gone to the theatre for it but it was worth 99 cents and a trip to a Redbox and back.

Biggest let down for me in a while. I laughed a t little, yes, but not NEAR as much as I thought I was going to.

Given the comedic talent I thought it was abysmal..

Just attempted to watch this abortion of a comedy last night and had to turn it off after an hour and 15 minutes in. And this was after fighting the urge to turn it off after 30 minutes. I have never seen a comedy drag so much in my life. I thought it would at least be average with Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd, but the material was just awful.
