that doesn't debunk that it is a UM plane though.

is it coincidence that it's activity has picked up since the coaching search?

I think people forget that there are a number of things ongoing in BTR that would result in the use of a plane.

A plane that just so happens to look like it's wearing a Michigan football uniform??? Come on man.. If a New England Patriots plane landed in N.O. and you heard Drew Brees was going to New England you would think it was just a coincedence since there is lots of stuff going on in N.O. that require poeple to fly?

The last time it was in Michigan was 10/26. You're telling me in the last 2.5 months there has been no need for this jet that apparently is heavily involved in UM's athletics and academics to be there?

Has it been stated that this is the ONLY plane available to faculty or athletic admin? Besides, most of the athletic travel is with the teams on a charter. The fact that this plane is in Baton Rouge is enough evidence for me that Les Miles is a valid candidate for their head coach opening. Beyond that, it's all speculation.

f the University of Michigan is under the financial pressures that are reported (and as an adjunct professor there, I have a decent basis for asserting that they are) what are they doing flying around to golf resorts and coaches' residences in a $14 million dollar airplane that costs $2-3 thousand an hour to operate? Didn't they learn anything from what happened to the bozos from General Motors?

haha, Athletic Department has boosters. shut it.

Can anyone confirm if Miles indeed called a team meeting today as I'm hearing?

I imagine most of the team is on Winter break.

I'm pretty savvy about how big time athletic program finances work. It's an appearances thing that I expect the President of the University and the legislators who appropriate the University's funds are pretty sensitive to--or should be.

Has anybody watched the UM-Kansas game to see if there is a Brandon siting at the game? With UM hosting the 3rd best team in the country, you would expect the AD to be there. If he isn't at the game, I would have to believe he is in Baton Rouge.

Exactly. But why in the hell has this guy not flown to a damn football game?
