post CADFast binge was quite delicious.
Eat-stop-eat can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
It most definitely can. Make sure you are drinking enough water during the fast. And, I think this will help immensely, drink two full glasses of water immediately prior to eating your first meal after the fast. It should help curb your hunger and allow you to only eat a normal amount.

So close! I will be looking great on my cruise in 3 weeks!
I'm kinda frustrated though... I'm really happy with the way my body is right now but I want to loose those last few more so that when I incorporate more carbs I balance out at 120. I know I should keep going, but I'm tired of focusing so much energy on dieting. And my motivation is waning more because I have a big birthday weekend planned coming up. Sigh.

Welcome to your first plateau. The only real advice anyone can give is to just keep plugging along. Odds are you're still losing inches. FWIW, Atkins doesn't consider no loss a plateau unless you've not lost pounds or inches in 4 weeks..
On a side note, cycling carbs can bust a plateau. Eat about 120g carbs one day, all healthy stuff, don't go eat white bread and white rice.. just eat a lot of fruit. Once you burn that off, that is a pretty good plateau buster. OR, you can cut almost all carbs out altogether and eat very, very high fat. Get that metabolism crankin'.
The only true plateau buster is time and effort, unfortunately.

Great weekend, very little cheating. I didn't drink enough water but still reached my Monday goal.
It's Spring Break for us this week, so that might present a challenge.
Here's to a great week!

10 days of a nonplateau is nothing in the grand scheme of things. so many non-diet factors that only patience is the key. H, and all of us, have gone weeks on a non-plateau and suddenly busted through. If you were doing what your doing and trending upward, then you'd really be

Yup
And it's happened a couple of times. When it happens, I usually drop a lot of weight all at once after it's busted.

Phantom Weight Gain!!!
I really wanted to smash the scale this morning. I was expecting a nice dip down, instead I get a nice CLIMB UP! On 1300 fraking calories.
The low weight on Sunday pattern continues and it makes no sense. I thought I had a shot at 162s for the Wednesday weigh-in but that isn't going to happen unless I pick up a stomach virus.
Only thing I can think of is the pork on Sunday might have been heavy on sodium.

Finally broke through the plateau this morning with a 3lb weight loss.
Also finished my 1st day of Week 2 couch to 5K.
Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, actually speed walked for a extra 10 minutes after I finished my C to 5K routine.
Feeling good this morning..
Thanks everyone for the advice on pushing pass the plateau.

Told ya, after a plateau you normally either see quick loss for a while or one big drop. Your body was losing fat but holding onto water weight.

After my 5 day eating and drinking binge with out of state buddies, I feel as if I'm getting back in the groove. Last Thurs I did one day of no carb and went from 198 to 194.5. Then unexpected trip led to cheats. Damn. Anyway back on schedule and workouts since ystdy. I am still 5 lbs over my low 10 days ago. Maybe the next 10 days I can be back there.

If I can jump here, I'm trying to reign it in as of yesterday. Weighed myself and I'm at 270. think 215 is a realistic goal. I'd like to get down to maybe 240 when I go on vacation in August. I've got the "Lose It" app on my phone and I'm keeping track of calories. I was in shape about 12 years ago, I could run ten miles without stopping and was at about 165. I'd like to start running again, a mile without stopping is probably a good initial goal.

Couch to 5k is a good running app. Looks like you already have a background in running, so you know what you are in for. Instead of the lose it app try MyFitnessPal. I found it to be much better. Good luck.
Question for everyone here. I got bashed on the OT for asking this, so I'll try here. What is your recommendations for heart rate monitors. TIA
