Why? Why does he deserve to play over Jefferson?

Wrong.

The clicking action happened in the latter half of 06.

If he transfers in conference doesn't he have to sit out 2? That would be dumb if that's the case.

You are a DICK!!!! I wish you would go be a fan of another team asswhip.

This kid got his arse handed to him last year and it was obvious he was not ready to be a starter in the SEC. All he did in the offseason was work his butt off despite all the shite he took from dick heads like you and still wants to be a Tiger even if it means riding the pine.

You really are a spineless frick!!!

Why is it always either/or with you people?

Jefferson is the starter. End of story.

But if he is stinking it up, it isn't like he is the only option there. Take him out to let him get a grip of himself/take some coaching.

I dont know what it is, but I got a feeling he may play next week (JJ gets smashed by Cody)and pull out a upset...(I know, sounds crazy)

This is why we shouldn't want him to transfer. He's the best backup in the SEC right now next to maybe Brantley and that's arguable.

saban doesn't put his qb's in a situation where they can lose the game. so if he'd start throwing pick 6's, he'd just run the ball.

How is this Miles' choice? Maybe I don't understand how this works?

If Miles gives him a release, he would only have to sit one year. If he does not give him a release, he would have to sit two years, thus using up all 5 years of eligibility. Usually coaches do not give releases to guys who are transferring within the conference or to large in-state schools (not really the case for Louisiana) unless a guy has a sick relative or something like taht.

In reality, this topic is unnecessary because no SEC school would give him the Same Keller agreement.

Please tell me what he has done to earn any PT?

He qb'd last year before he was supposed to because our started was removed from the team. Lee was not ready but he went out there and gave it his best despite struggling. I am one that believes if Hatch didn't get hurt we would have lost the Auburn game last year. Lee also faced the music whenever the media came calling. Jarred Lee went through a hell of a lot of adversity. He also showed up to do it again this year and has worked his arse off. Do I say he should start -not necessarily. To imply he hasn't earned PT is just ridiculous and unfair to a Tiger.

It's also unfair to JJ to lose playing time just because some people want to see a Jarrett Lee redemption story. If JJ isn't doing anything bad enough to be benched why should he lose playing time.

Getting drafted for him this year would be all about the combines. He would get invites. If he impressed he would certainly be drafted by 5th our 6th round.

I like JL. He seems to have his head on straight but JJ hasn't done anything to lose his job. As a young, first year starter JJ has played fairly well. Does he have some issues? yes, but I would be surprised if those aren't a thing of the past by early next year. I just don't see JL ever starting unless JJ gets hurt this year. I'd be more than a little surprised if Garrett doesn't pass JL up on the depth chart in the spring. JL at Baylor, SMU, LA Tech or a FCS school would be a great fit and would give him a chance to play. If he comes out of spring #3 he should probably look to make a move.

Don't know him at all. Must state that first.

But I would be willing to bet that he'll decide prior to spring.

I see no reason that would prevent Lee from transfering to another school including the SEC. I personally believe this would be Miles' biggest mistake to allow this guy to transfer unless Garrett is the real deal, then again if he is really all that hewould be starting now. No disresct to JJ but I honestly do not believe that he would start at any other school in the SEC.

My biggest mis-understanding with Miles is why would he does not give Lee an opportunity. I believe he is scared that it would start a QB controversy.

There is obviously something going on behind the scenes and I suspect it is carry over from last year.

Crowton in the summer talked extensively about Lee and how he had improved and studied. Claimed both qbs would play extensively.

Then, it just has not happened.
