Add Louisiana Lagniappe to the list. It's a good restaurant but way overhyped, at least on this board.

i had to include it b/c of it's popularity and local origins.

If it were a Cali question i would put In and Out Burger on the list.

I've heard they used to be great, but slid down the porcelain whirlpool.

Not sure if Boutins was even rated. If so then its overrated.

I was disapointed in Mr. B's last trip down

For me, it's always been TJ Ribs. A close second IMO is Superior Grill.

I never did eat there

There are just too many great local burger joints to mess with chains IMO

If it makes you feel better, I loved it when I went. I recommended it to some friends, and they had a great experience too. Can't please everybody all the time I guess.

well he said food quality only

its a quality hamburger, thus not overrated. Whats so hard to understand?

same thing with Canes. Im not exactly a chicken finger fan, but they are pretty good chicken fingers. They are usually always hot, crunchy, decent tasting. Now if u want to throw in price, then you can start talking overrated. But as far as quality, they are pretty good.
