Fight fire with fire.
At the end of the day though, this is so stupid. Supreme Court should just come in and say we aren't drawing districts anymore and here is the new way

Those districts look reasonable
The funny thing is most GOP redistricting efforts show maps with reasonable districts geographically
The Dem maps like in Virginia are insane where they take half a city and stretch the district far into rural areas

This is gonna go off the rails. Democrats started this nonsense. The California map is a complete joke and Massachusetts is worse

Doesn't even look that bad. The worst ones are 14, 15, 17 and 25 and they all look better than the bullshite in Virginia.

So break the law twice over giving the USSC national redistricting power?
Seems legit

He should have waited for VA Supreme Court b4 announcing this..
Logically a lot of people moved from CA and Yankee States. Did they all dump democrats?
I dont care if we finally fight fire with fire but slow your roll.

California's map was in response to Texas's redistricting. I don't think "Democrats" created that gerrymandered Texas map.
quote:
Texas First: Gov. Greg Abbott signed the Texas GOP-backed congressional map into law on August 29, 2025.
California Response: In response, California lawmakers and Gov. Gavin Newsom immediately pursued a new map, which voters approved in November 2025.

The Tampa Bay Area looks...creative.

I've lost track of where we are in the redistricting race.
I know Texas is +5 R, Virginia is +4 D, but what about the other states? Wasn't California's revised +5 D map struck down?
Edit: I see Missouri redistricted for +1 R and North Carolina +1 R.

By and large, yes.
California alone has enough leftists to flip like 5-6 states in the West and maintain a huge DEM lead in California with the remaining population
They could easily flip Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and maybe Utah and still have no sweat with CA being a yuge DEM stronghold.

this is oversimplified almost to an absurd level. are you serious trying to imply that Democrats are innocent of gerrymandering in Texas?

They’ve been doing it for decades. Have you seen Illinois?
They’re just angry that Republicans have decided to do it too.

That's not a bad idea. Let the State Representatives choose their delegates based the percentages of the votes in the most recent Presidential election.
Might even be an Independent in a State or two.
The Republicans would do great. They would select candidates representing the commercial and cultural segments within their State and would even be smart enough to select Representatives with specific committees in mind.
The Democrats would be a fight between ambulance chasers, black activists, abortionists, and sex deviants.
