Cole Allen spewed anti-Christian and anti-Trump rhetoric on his social media accounts, said he wanted to target the Trump admin in his manifesto, according to CBS News.
According to Allen’s sister, he sent the manifesto to his family before the incident.
Allen had also attended a No Kings rally in California and was a part of the group named 'The Wide Awakes,' per Fox News.
Allen fired a total of 5 to 8 shots during the incident. He was not struck.
He traveled by train from Los Angeles to Chicago, then from Chicago to Washington, D.C.
According to a senior U.S. official, one of his family members notified police about his manifesto. Allen did *not* mention the White House Correspondents' Dinner in the manifesto.
The writings were reportedly written on paper and found in his hotel room.

Lot of gun folks would probably call him a Fudd. Does seem a bit quaint in this day. I guess maybe that’s what you get trying to arm yourself for an assassination while residing in California.

Why is it that every shooter has a manifesto and pronouns? Seems like an awfully big coincidence. Almost like it fits a narrative

According to other reports (verified by law enforcement) he used a .38 semiautomatic. People may have assumed it was a revolver, since .38's are usually revolvers.
