The shooter wondered why his room wasn't bugged.
It's not like they randomly showed up at 6 for a buffet, this was a known and long-planned event.
I mean, you know hotel prices are going to go up in Nola during Jazzfest and Mardi Gras, because there's going to be demand for those rooms. Similar concept, with the addition of security overlaid on it- you know most of the Executive Branch is going to be at that Hilton on 4/25, it should be standard operating procedure that Secret Service has a list of hotel guests on that day, with a quick glance at why they might be there.
