25 tackles and 2.5 sacks last year. is it scheme, giants, or not that good?

He’s overrated. He has some pass rush ability but has not lived up to his draft status.

"If a deal happens, it could be as soon as tonight."

Hopefully AFTER the Saints have already used their 2nd and 3rd round picks.

I mean it makes some sense. DE is a major need on the team and Kayvon Thibodeaux is at minimum competent NFL starter. Depends on the cost as far as draft capital and what we end paying him because presumably we aren’t trading for one year of him.

If it’s not that much draft capital and they can extend him at a reasonable price then it makes sense. Follows the chase young model a bit, second contract for a high draft pick who has somewhat underperformed

For LA's 6th rounder we acquired for next year, I'm all in.

Not sure people on this board are aware it’s possible to recover from an injury

My understanding is he is a strong run defender. A couple years back he has 11.5 sacks as well.

I’m down for acquiring him but not for a second or third. Gonna have to pay him after this year, so you’re not just giving up a draft pick. You’re also sacrificing cap space.

Feeling generous, so I’d throw Rat in with that 6th to sweeten the pot.

Loomis made a call to see what the value was, nothing more than that. Just because he calls doesnt mean there is any interest.

If we can get him for a 4th, sure. Go Star in 2nd, DL or OL in 3rd and other 4th

I’d assume he would for a 3rd rounder. 2nd rounder is too rich.

Maybe the Giants D line coach isn’t worth a shite? Abdul Carter didn’t make any noise last season.
