Well now we traded for another edge, so I think that puts things back in doubt. Don't think it would be a no on resigning him now, but I guess that depends on how they view the new edge and Rumph as the top backups.

Tyree Wilson from the Raiders for a 5th, and we got a 7th back as well.
Not nearly as good of a player, but it was far better value.

True. But they wanted a 2nd rounder and held firm. We got Chase for free. Big difference.

I thought somewhere in the thread above my post it was mentioned the Saints had no intention of trading for him and would make a push for him when he hits FA.
