Wouldn’t hate it if they just love a guy. Probably take—what?—our 3rd? One of our 4ths and some change? San Fran leaking this to up the price, though. Might get too expensive.

Hmm. I wonder who it would be for?

McDonald?
Terrell?

I imagine it will be no one that we are thinking about. If you just take the last 5 second round picks, I think Foskey was the only one that was talked about much prior to the pick:

2025 - Tyler Schough
2024 - Kool-Aid McKinstry
2023 - Isaiah Foskey
2022 - Alontae Taylor
2021 - Pete Werner

Stukes and Terrell are obvious options.

Kayden McDonald may be a not overly obvious possibility.

Loomis literally makes calls to everyone. That doesn't mean they want to trade up. They just want to know what the value would be. Kellen Moore literally talked about this last night when asked about the rumors.

Does not shock me in the least. We have the 10th pick in the 2nd, and the trade up to 33 would not take a ton (though if they are getting multiple offers it will likely be a bit higher than equal value.

Probably will be our 2nd and 3rd for their 2nd and 4th or 5th, or we do multiple later round picks for just their 2nd.

Doesn't mean we will trade up, but that's the value we are likely looking at.

Depends on how much value you put in those Draft Pick Value Charts. PFR's version says SF's pick is worth 580, Saints pick is worth 480

If you give them the 3rd rounder, 225 value, & late 5th rounder, 31 value; then take their 3rd, 132 value, you're right there

SF 2nd (pick 33) & 3rd (pick 92) --> Saints 2nd (pick 42), 3rd (pick 73) & 5th pick 150)

Value would be SF gives up 712, and receives 736

These values are from the outdated Jimmy Johnson chart. This one is much closer to today's values and is generally in the ball park (unless a team gets desperate and goes overboard):

Yep. EMW is definitely the top guy. Man I’d fricking love him leading that DB room on the field. He’s a future star. Lots of really good players in the next 100 picks. If SC would take 42, our 4th this year and our 3rd next year for 32 I’d jump on it. I just really want us to keep that 3rd round lick because they could very well be a day 1 starter. Kayden McDonald is also a really interesting player to me that could help the interior DL. Breese is what he is at this point. Serviceable but not a top guy.
