16% said it was conservative.
Among priests ordained in the last few years:
2% describe their theology as progressive.
84% said it was conservative.

Follows general population trends among men.

Both terms have been misapplied and overused into uselessness, unfortunately. There’s nothing to take away from data like this.

Well the College of Cardinals was replaced by almost 100% progressives. So the ruling body is incredibly liberal

go to mass or hang around with a millennial priest and do the same with a boomer priest and you can immediately tell the chart is correct

It’s the prog priest getting all the attention.
All those lib Cardinals are the ones ordained in the 60’s.

We are sort of in the slow dying gasp of the Vatican II movement and the ideology behind it.

here is a video breaking down this data more, and pointing out that progressive Catholicism seems to be dying.

It is very good news for the USA and all Americans.

It's beautiful to see.
I also notice that the younger people (35 and younger) who are returning to the church or converting are much more conservative in their faith and much more skeptical of the modernism that has crept into the church over the last 60 or so years.

They must be the one's who keep their mouths shut. All we ever hear from are the woke-joke globalist puppets.

The changes seen in many parishes, including my own, are already palpable. Good things are happening.
ETA: It's also not coincidental that the media-driven divisiveness surrounding the Pope is happening. They want to drive a wedge between conservatism and Catholicism, and some of you are playing right into it.

Oh, it matters very much! For the future. Many will one day be Cardinals who will meet to decide new Popes.
