How so? He just destroyed Doug Wilson in a debate.

The trend fits.......we know the conservatives are child rapists, and the priests will now fit right in with them.

Not me. I don’t care what the Pope says about politics or world events, and I don’t care what POTUS says about the Pope.

It has no impact on my parish and wasn’t even alluded to on Sunday

I'll never know the political leanings of our priests unless they just decided to tell me, but I'm confident all but one is pretty conservative, and that one might be.

It's not a 1:1 with political conservatism, but at the very least they aren't ones to wax poetic about political values either way.

I noticed that also. It was just regular church service and 30 below folks out numbered the 40 to 90 folks. It was great to see! It used to be 40 to 90. All

Yep

You should probably be skeptical of how much, if at all, this is happening at the ground level.

I grew up in a very strict Catholic household. I was an altar boy, etc. Unfortunately, the Catholic church that I knew then is not recognizable today. It has been an incremental change, first with LEM's then changing the mass drastically, then the recent progressive Popes. They have lost me. I hope the trend described in this thread is true.

I’ll be dead before it makes a difference. It sucks now based on what is going on at this moment.

Liberal priests are a symptom of society as a whole. Those priests have wrecked the Church and caused confusion among the faithful.

There are plenty of priests and parishes trending in the other direction now.

It's already making a difference. As someone who left the church for over 20 years, then came back, you shouldn't dismiss the change. Not only that, but if we're honest, life was convenient and unaccounted when we (collective) were/are outside the church.
