On radio this am he said he thinks the saints are likely to go offense at 8 and then heavy defense the rest of the draft.

He seemed to suggest if somehow Love gets to 8 he thinks they’d jump to get him.

He also seemed to suggest he thinks if they did go WR at 8, he thinks they’re more likely to take Tyson over Tate, believing he has the higher upside.

He also said if they do go defense and he’s available, Downs would likely be th pick at 8.

So Nick Underhill and Touchdownjeebus have very different sources.

I’d be a big fan of any of those picks so I hope this turns out to be true

The injury stuff is scary… but Tyson just looks so much like Odell. Tate is solid but most drafts he’s probably closer to mid 20s..

Which is the opposite of what we heard pre-combine. But he started fading from that after FA.

It’s gonna be one of the WRs

If they go defense, he said Downs. He is in right position group. I believe Saints will take CB from LSU. Nick isn't 100% right but he is dam close.

My source knows him well, lol.

I’d love to get downs, so I hope I’m wrong.

Interesting. Saw someone on X who said it’s basically Love, Bain, then Tyson. He said Tyson has always been the 3rd option. Even over Tate

Love isn’t the pick after giving Etienne the house.
I say Bain is the pick.

Meh. I’d still take Love. The dude is that damn good to me. Don’t just draft for now. Draft for the future.

I just don’t see how they would take Bain considering how much of an outlier he is with measurables. I think that’s a smokescreen.

There are very few positions they will budge on with measurables and Edge is not one of them.

I think they’re going to take Tyson or Downs and probably going to be Tyson

Would love to move back a few spots if it's possible then take Vega. Idk why he isn't getting as much hype as some of these other guards.

We don't trust arm chair GM's of Saints Talk.

Real GM's that get paid to make these decisions have very real concerns about his ability to stay healthy. The best ability in sports is availability.

If they manage to trade back to 12-15th I'd be all for it, just not in the Top 10.

I remember someone saying here that the Saints weren't going to look at Downs because of the defense scheme we use depends heavily on good down field coverage. Apparently Downs is not that good covering deep.

I think Nick is just carrying water for the saints.

I don’t believe anything he is saying.

If Nick says it then it probably ain't happening. Teams intentionally leak info through their reporters to create smoke and deflections
