Do you take offense at being called "love" or "sweetie"?

Better than being called "Rat Dick Suck Nut".... says Bob.

From a stranger? Hell nah because that just shows my ability to be polite and respectful to others...

I especially like it when a Waffle House waitress calls me something like that.

Call me anything just don't call me late for dinner.

I like when broads or cute guys say it.

When a nice old black lady at the gas station tells me “ have a blessed day sweetie” It always puts a smile on my face

No offense but also no fan of hearing it coming from a stranger, esp one in the service indy. Just give me good service with a friendly smile and we good.

Nope. Some cultures are just being kind when they say it. I'm not fragile

Nothing heals the soul like an elderly woman calling my 40 year old arse “my baby”

Only Karens get upset at things like that.

Nothing worse than a premature "honey".

I do not like being “sweetie”’d by guys younger than me. Comes off as pretty condescending older dudes and women can get away with it.

I don’t do it.
I don’t control what other people choose to say.
It’s ok.

Younger women are starting to say that to me. Typically that would come out of a silent generations mouth, so it is surprising. Its even coming from baristas at Starbucks.
I like that the younger women doing it don't think that it's offensive. Typically they find everything offensive.
