I wouldn’t be surprised if Wade believes that the current roster is good enough to compete for a tournament title next year. That may be what’s happening right now.

Ngl, I fully trust Wade, but we only do have one player rostered for next year and a lot of the top portal guys are dropping. Excited to see who he lands, and hopefully soon.

The basketball portal has been really slow. If we want to be antsy it should be that McNeil hasn’t signed. We will be fine though

You realize that 4 and 5 star players weren’t just setting and waiting for the portal to open so they could immediately sign with LSU just because Wade is there now right?
Y’all had this same mindset about football with Kiffin. Expecting 5 stars from every corner to sign with Kiffin as soon as the transfer portal window opened. And that’s just not how this works.
These guys have still got to take visits at schools before they decide anything. One of the guys isn’t even visiting LSU until April 23rd I believe. So it’s just gonna take time and patience.

72 of the top 100 players in the portal have not committed anywhere yet. The portal is moving incredibly slow for everyone, not just LSU.
