Some posters just like to be retarded. We just went through this with football. Basketball is 6 days in and almost no program has really had any news at all.

But there is a difference. LSU football is a big name. LSU basketball is not. LSU probably won’t be getting any 5*s maybe 4 stars bball players.

Well it would help if you knew the rules before panicking. Portal closes in 8 days to enter other than a coaching change which then it would reopen to enter for those players. Of course the only coaching change left would be some sort of scandal or sudden retirement.
I have a feeling it should start to move this week as far as guys coming in. It’s odd how tight lipped almost every school has been so far

I hope we sign a stud that others want to play with. I saw a lot of commitments already. Tennessee and Texas both have 2, and they don’t have to build an entire roster. I wonder if Wade is planning on bringing in a bunch of players that aren’t in the portal, such as some semi-pro or overseas players? Maybe his staff has eligibility?

I’m far from panicking. I’ve also been seeing a lot of leaks come out as to where others were going. Both Nwoko and Thomas leaked a day or two before they committed. It’s going to be interesting to see, I would lean to say that McNeil and Graves would be ideal, but starting to have some doubts based on what I’m hearing.
Braden East from my hometown Lamar would definitely be someone that fits the Wade mold, but he is visiting Houston tomorrow.

If the best players are off the board in the first 11 days, we are half way through that. I’d be curious how this year compares to prior, the portal hasn’t really been around long so hard to have any solid data on what happens, also hard to have that data with how these things seem to move.

Did your story also note that the vast majority of the top 100 players haven'y committed anywhere?
