Is there an Obamacare that you sign up for that is free?

I got my taxes done yesterday and they rejected it b/c they say my "husband" is on it. I had not seen him for months and have gotten no mail for him at my house.

Not sure what's going on with the OP but there's some correlation between Obamacare and taxes. Me and my two boys (early 20's) were on Obamacare last year. My oldest moved to CO for a job but no health benefits. I intended to keep him on my plan. However since he is no longer a dependent and will file his own taxes for 2025 he cannot stay on my marketplace plan. He had to get his own for '26.

If you go for public assistance a lot of times they will sign people up.
But based on your age, unless you were a teacher, I would believe your husband is to old for the program.
