One month, he pulls up to the pump and fills up with fuel that costs $2.39/gal. He pays and moves along.

One month later, he pulls up to the same pump and fills up with fuel that costs $3.89/gal. He stops and scratches his head with a “hmmmph”. He pays and moves along.

None of us know anything, and we never will.

If a dollar more is going to break you, you really can’t afford to drive. You need to take the bus.

We'll see about the short term aspect. If the strait isn't reopened gas prices will be the least of your concerns

I know you’re broke. You paid $7 more dollars. Yes, gas prices are high. Yes, they’ll come back down soon. Yes, you paid more for several years a few years ago.

Unfortunately for you, if gas prices remain $1 above last year and $1 below the previous 4 years for about 687 years your retirement may be slightly impacted. Unless you eat some eggs tomorrow, then you’ll actually retire 376 years earlier

Scratch your vag and move along

You think raised gas prices only affect people at the gas station? That box you can't think out of is pretty small, dude.

I have vendors that tack on a $1200 evergy surcharges at the end of their invoices during high fuel prices. Not complaining, just stating facts.

High fuel prices affect everything.

Now don't come back calling me a liberal or some other stupid shite.

Full tank Saturday for $80.00+, I just shrugged and thought "I work from home so that will last me a month".

How did you survive the 6 years straight of 3.50 plus a gallon under Obama? Maybe you were not driving under the Obama regime…. How did you survive multiple year of 3.50 plus under Biden?

3.50 is the norm right now in my part of east TN. In 60 days it will be under 3.00 and barring the unforeseen it will be back to the 2.30-2.50 range in a year.
