Just a wild guess, but you were probably around the first few days of the football portal being open and in lock step with the other degenerates who thought we were failing only to to completely shut up a week or so in.

I think the agents figured out that they should wait and take offers. Signing right away could hurt the players bottom line. Let the top guy go through their bidding process and set the market and then the second tier guys fill in and their offers go up due to desperate teams who missed on tier 1 guys. and so on and so forth.

Patience grasshopper. BB transfer portal just opened yesterday/today. Most players will consider several teams and go on multiple visits before they make commitment. Reese, Morrow, Van Lith, Koval, Fulwiley took a week before they made commitment. The handful of players who have "Do Not Contact Tag" already know where they want to go, but they still go onsite visit. They meet with coaching staff, current players, Nil staff, academics, financial aid, tour campus, go out to dinner, etc. Some will wait last minute, last day to enter the portal. You can't do everything in one day.
