The Democratic Republic of Congo agreed to accept third-country nationals deported from the US, Reuters reported, citing a government statement.

The agreement, which involves receiving deportees who aren’t Congolese nationals, is the latest to be signed between the US and African countries, with nations including Eswatini having accepted deportees.

It also comes as Congo is pushing the US to pressure Rwanda to adhere to the terms of a peace deal brokered by the administration of President Donald Trump. As part of that deal, US companies are investing in the mining of critical minerals in the central African nation.

Another hell-hole destination! Hasta la vista illegals!

"African countries aren't shotholes!"

Also...

"You can't send them there, the living conditions are horrible!"

Or draft them into their military. There's always a war going on down there.

It’s an excellent idea to deport illegals to there. It will discourage the whole trafficking industry, as well as encourage self-deportations

Sounds good to me. Congo should keep the money the US will pay and just release the illegals into the wilderness.
Lions need to eat also.

Love this - I still wish we’d send more to El Salvador’s, but this works

This makes zero sense - deport them to their home country, or else it will be overturned by a federal judge.

Unless that's the plan all along, is to have it overturned by a federal judge.

Then Trump can turn to his supporters and say, "See? I tried". No mass deportations and his donors stay happy while he placates the rubes.

Hows that border wall coming?

No, its really not. Its intentionally complicated and contentious (just like having ICE in deep blue cities) and it will obviously backfire (just like SFP and I told you that ICE in Minny would risk the entire program). Yall slandered us and said we were pussies and liberal. But we were right. Obvuously.

Same thing will happen here. It will get struck down quickly and delay actual deportations and make Trump look like a jerk to independents right before the midterms.

This entire administration is a heckin joke and yall need to wake up.

Set to be completed by Jan '28.
I mean, they had to repurchase all the wall that Biden sold as scrap or let sit and rust.
As if we don't remember the stupidity of your brain dead president!!
Try harder

I have said this before to someone and now I will say it to you. If the Trump administration deported just 1 illegal in his last term then that’s 1 more illegal than Biden/Harris would have deported had they won the election. If Biden/Harris had won the election how many more millions of illegals do you think would have poured over the border by this point? Would I like to see more illegals deported every day? Yes! I will take whatever I can get considering the Dems and these far left progressive activists judges have obstructed Trump every step of the way.

Thats fair I do credit Trump for shutting down the border.

Im frustrated that they do these over the top clickbaity things that will clearly backfire though.

Deport the damn illegals to their home country. This scheme to deport them to Congo will backfire, mark my words.

If Kamala had won the election then I imagine the number of illegals coming across the border every day would have accelerated dramatically. By now we would be close to going broke as a country just taking care of illegals.

The Supreme Court disagrees.

quote:

A divided Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Trump administration to restart swift removals of migrants to countries other than their homelands, lifting for now a court order requiring they get a chance to challenge the deportations.

Put a rifle in their hands and tell them to spend 24 months helping defend them from Congolese rebels to earn their citizenship. Win/win.
