Imagine being so desperate for a win that you think Iran is winning the war because they managed to finally hit a plane after thousands of combat missions.

We're at a point where if we engage in any military action, if we have non-zero casualties, it's considered a failure. That is completely insane.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of the political efficacy of attacking Iran, the military performance has been superb. Iran was supposed to be the big baddie of the middle east and the US military has neutralized them as a threat. We just spent three days flying unopposed, with helicopters, C-130s, etc and put boots on the ground to extract a service member and they basically could do nothing to stop it.
ETA: anyone downvoting is delusional. What I said is objectively true.

Agreed. It’s probably not so much they are rooting FOR Iran as it is they are rooting AGAINST Trump.
Anything that can be perceived to be a negative against DJT and his admin is a good thing to them. Even if it meant Iran “winning”.
I couldn’t stand Obummer or Biden but had either undertaken military action against the Islamic Republic who has been openly hostile towards the U.S. for decades, I would have supported their efforts.
The pure partisanship for these anti DJT types is at a whole other level these days.

I didn’t especially WANT this particular kinetic action.
But now that we’re in it, there’s nothing left to do but finish it in a way favorable to the US. And I support that.

They, the MSM, (Lying Media) are claiming Iran is winning because Iran is not interested in negotiating.
