28 Years Later: The Bone Temple now on Netflix

In a continuation of the epic story, Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) makes a discovery that could change the world as they know it -- and Spike's (Alfie Williams) encounter with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O'Connell) becomes a nightmare he can't escape. In the world of The Bone Temple, the infected are no longer the only threat to survival -- the inhumanity of the survivors can be stranger and more terrifying.
Even if you hated 28 Years Later or were just put off by the final scene, do yourself a favor and watch this on Netflix. Fiennes has one of the coolest scenes I’ve seen in a movie in a long time. Jack O’Connell plays another great villain as the head Jimmy.

Are the first two movies streaming anywhere?
Posted on 3/31/26 at 2:23 pm to unlimited
28 Days Later doesn’t appear to be streaming for free anywhere. It’s a $6 rental on most apps.
28 Weeks Later is streaming on Hulu.
Both 28 Years Later are on Netflix.

Great movie, much better than the first of the apparent trilogy.

I plan on watching this tomorrow, just me and the dogs.

Halfway through now, more fun than 28 Years Later so far.
ETA: Just got to the Iron Maiden part.
Awesome. It's the perfect song and energy.

Really enjoyed it. I liked the first one but this one was much better.

It’s nicely set up for a fifth installment…. With a blast from the past.

Hopefully we still get a fifth movie. It was confirmed before the release of this movie and its lackluster box office performance. Based on comments I’ve read, it’s not quite a sure thing anymore.

Really liked the movie, I could have done without the barn scene.
One big issue I had was why did the dude not hit the main Jimmy in head with the pot?
Iron Madden was not on my bingo card, it was awesome

Wow I can’t believe that’s already out on Netflix. It was just last year that I watched 28 Years Later in theaters and now the next film is already streaming. I’m not used to this from Hollywood
Thanks for the heads up, I missed bone temple when it was in theaters mostly because it caught me off guard how soon after the last one it was released

They filmed them back to back. If we get a third 28YL, it will be a much longer wait.
