I'm completely fine with the extinction of the mosquito, though. And yeah, I know it'll have a butterfly effect on nature, but, frick them skeeters.

The world would be a much better place if Bill Gates would drop dead later today. Dude seems psychopathic to me.
And not only that, he's such a poser. This dude doesn't have a medical background, but he was front-and-center on Covid and other things. He doesn't know anything about agriculture, but he's bought up a ton of American farmland (along with China. I'm sure China has America's best interests at heart).
Hell, I've heard that Gates wasn't even the driving force behind Microsoft. But to be fair, I don't what the truth is there.

Is this like making your city a sanctuary city, then passing a law for 25 dollar an hour minimum wage and then asking......where did all these homeless citizens come from?
I know one island here in the Caribbean who went on a vigilante hunt for snakes because it made tourists uncomfortable......they now have a huge, literally and figuratively, rat problem.
We will probably find out that mosquitoes prevented a relapse of the bubonic plague when they are all gone

Maybe, but do we actually need a "factory" to help them reproduce?

Bill Gates is the officially licensed exterminator for the planet.

He needs to spend more time with mosquitoes and less with teenage girls.

The factory is producing mosquitoes that cant reproduce, hopefully leading to the eradication of the species.

Isn’t Gates a proponent of the flying syringe concept for vaccine dissemination in impoverished countries?
I seem to remember talk of this during the pandemic.

I don't have a problem with mosquitoes. I basically live outdoors and am ok because I'm usually near a campfire and I wear insect repellent.
I'm completely fine with the extinction of Bill Gates and everyone like him, though.

In the video he said the mosquitos they make go out in the wild and mate with other mosquitos to spread the human-injected bacteria that makes it unable to spread certain viruses/diseases. I didn’t hear him say anything about it making them unable to reproduce or that being the goal. Sounds like the goal is to “infect” enough mosquitos to stop/slow spread of certain diseases.
When I first saw the thread I was like “WTF why would anyone make MORE mosquitos ” like most people, but after watching the video at least it kind of makes sense assuming they’re being honest about the research and that it works.

Seems like Bill Gates loves us and wants us to be happy.
Saved Memaw from Covid and now mutant mosquitoes.
Also wild that Warren Buffett gave the Gates Foundation $43 more billion dollars to work with.
World's best investor somehow comes to the conclusion that the best he can do for humanity is give Gates MORE money.

They're being genetically modified to "vaccinate" us, against our will.

Yes. He's also talked about it as a way to thwart "vaccine hesitancy" among the populace.
