Y’all don’t want to hear this, but there’s a bigotry against Louisiana that fuels the hate

LSU behaves exactly like every other school and Yankees and Southerners from the “Baptist South” find every reason to hate LSU. It’s anti-Catholic and anti-Cajun bias related to old regional biases and bigotries. Assumptions of “Waterboy.” The assumption of corruption is constant. When a good coach comes here, they all feel betrayed. They can’t fathom it. Why would anyone good want to go THERE with THOSE people?
It’s LSU against the world no matter what we do. Might as well ignore it.

I’m not sure if it’s that specifically but I was laughing at how the national media would be reacting to Texas having our coaches across the board

There is SOME truth to this. But a lot of it has to do with how does such a small state with such a small population make this much noise. Plus we’re different like Lane says. We are not called the Fightn Tigers for nothing.

This most definitely exists as someone that has lived in the “Baptist south” longer than I was in Louisiana.

They get fat because the food doesn't need coaching in South Louisiana.

Assumption?
Corruption is rampant here

It’s not that much different than anywhere else in that regard. Look at Alabama.

Typo. Changed it.
But, yeah, the food is amazing.

Fortunately we only rub elbows with the truly elite and don’t have to dabble in such riffraff.

Figured, though a joke was the best way to call it ot your attention, but I think you had corrected it before I finished posting,

There's a state way to the north of us that is now the gold standard for corruption...you know, the state with the learing centers.

Wait, might as well ignore it? Or post about it and stir everybody up? Who gives a sheet? It’s a great time to be here.
Got to watch Lane Kiffin play pickle ball tonight. I’m not worried about anybody’s biases. Just enjoying the moment.

The sports media is going to treat LSU the way the national media treats Trump. We're gonna be universally hated
Ought to be entertaining

Like Jim Rome said today. They are greasy, referring to Wade and LSU, but they don’t give a frick. lol

I’m not totally sure why some many people care about this type of stuff. Louisiana is a very unique place. For every person that “hates” Louisiana, there’s a person that loves it. There’s plenty of people in Louisiana that “hate” other places for no reason too. The internet is full of people that are very fond of Louisiana.

Assumptions of “Waterboy.”
Maybe because the waterboy was based in Louisiana?

I mean… are you going to deny this?

Every school feels betrayed when there coach leaves for another school. This isn’t new.

Again, there are plenty of people in Louisiana that feel this way about other places.

Seems like you are doing a very good job of ignoring it lol

This is accurate. I was born and raised in Louisiana but I’ve lived north of the Mason-Dixon Line for 16 years and the yankees absolutely have a bias against Louisiana. Think we’re all like Bobby Boucher.
