I like how he says, "the previous place" and "the previous quarterback"

He did a lot of talk about the differences between "outcome based" goals vs "process based" goals. A 10-3 record is "outcome based", wins and losses are sometimes out of your control. However a warp speed offense, an in shape defense, and an elite mindset is process based.

Sounds like his goals for year 1 are all about establishing his process and getting players with the right mindset. It's all coach-speak high level crap, but it's the first spring practice ffs.

I like how he's talking about Seaton being out there at 9 PM and how they are working to where that would be normal. But, it takes the coach actually being there to notice these things.

Him & Baker both are super high on Benefield. Versatility between all the safeties will be a key piece of the defense again

BK couldn’t tell us who was at the facility after 3 pm each day.

I saw the most hated sports "writer" in Louisiana actually showed up and asked a question. I figured must be some controversy was happening for him to appear.

He's talking about GG

Moscona's question was perfectly fine, and Kiffin danced around it

(which players are out besides Whit)

How exciting to hear him preach the standard expected for a fast tempo offense. And then how he individually addressed the d-line after practice to set expectations for them to be in shape enough to defend it.

This is going to be fun.

That’s a great point. But there’s another point that he insinuated related to this: coaches being there late is “leading from the front”. It’s the opposite of what our “previous coach” did. If players see coaches there late, that mindset is more likely to trickle down to the bottom of the roster.

I want to see him walking around the practice field in a NS esque Straw hat and then patrol the sidelines of Tiger Stadium in a High Rise Miles ball cap. While wearing some Sean McVay joggers pulled up to mid calf. half the crowd wouldn't know what to comment on. the game or wardrobe
