Has cottage cheese always been this good?

I'm pretty sure I used to hate it. Was it just the texture?
High in protein and good as hell. I can't get enough now. `I feel like I'm in an alternate timeline.

Try it with cheddar & sourcream ruffles

You're getting older and will soon only drink prune juice and eat cottage cheese.

Whip it.

Yeah, I take a stick blender to mine.
Also - This brand is blended consistency already. It's nearly impossible to find in stock around here because people love it so much.

I eat it almost every morning. A little bit of honey in it is great.

This. Once I started actually mixing it and spreading it on toast etc I actually started enjoying it. Great high protein snack.

It was even better back when it was made inside actual cottages.

I never even tried it for most of my life, but I tried some about a year ago when my daughter was on her kick and it turns out I really like it
Put a scoop in your scrambled eggs...
I am not sure I can try any cheese dish from someone with HoboDickCheese as their name

I like it more than I used to. Taste changes over time. When I was meal prepping more consistently, I would make up a big batch of chicken salad and use cottage cheese as the base. Between the chicken thighs and cottage cheese it was loaded in protein. Made some wraps with it and tossed them in the freezer. Take a couple to work with me in the morning and let them thaw out and by lunch I had something quick and easy and healthy.

I've come to appreciate cottage cheese and the sweet potato as uber super foods. I've been on a weight loss/healthy journey since July 2025 and both of these have been eye opening.
I like to blend cottage cheese until smooth and add some lime juice and zest. I've put that on numerous food items. My favorite is a protein bowl of lean ground beef, avocado, black beans and fresh pico.

I need to try it again w/ immersion blender. Unwhipped is nasty.

I do now. Anytime I feel snackish I grab a big spoonful. A few minutes later I’m all good.
I guess it is getting older. I definitely don’t like sweet stuff as much as I used to.

Yep, rouses or Winn Dixie used to carry it. Whole foods carries it but unless you get there right when they put it on the shelf it's never there

Sprinkle a little bit of salt over it. Hell yes.
