Consistently our top ally and doesn’t scold us like the EU.

In the press conference with the Japanese PM, a reporter asked Trump why he didn't tell other countries about the attack on Iran. He said Japan knows something about surprises, like Pearl Harbor.

Japan has a lot of the values we once had. (In other ways, I wouldn't want to live there... but admire that they generally want what's best for their communities.) We're too focused on greed.

I like Meloni in Italy too. She may be the only leader in Europe worth more than dry spit.

Crazy how the world has changed since WW2. Our big 3 allies were Great Britain, Soviet Union, and China The big 3 axis were Germany, Italy, and Japan.

Best people ever. Lived in a Japanese home for more than a year-fine people- high trust society- competent and virtuous. Proud of any association with Japan.

I noticed the PM kept looking at her watch during the presser. Maybe she was getting messages on her watch. DJT was taking a lot of media questions.

"Significant inroads"? My son has lived & worked & married there for going on 7+ years. Going by his work experiences, Japan is very demanding when it comes to renewing visas. And, who gets one in the first place. I talked to him recently & he has always followed the news here. Especially all the crap regarding legal / illegal immigrants. He has never mentioned any "significant" influx of Muslims or Indians.
