Once in Iraq, a semi was disabled and we were on patrol and got a call to go guard it until it could be recovered. We sat there for hours as the Iraqis gathered and were licking their chops to raid the truck. Finally after several hours something more important happened and we were told to move to a different location. The Iraqis turned into locusts the second we left and ripped everything out of the truck (mostly food destined for the base in Baghdad.)
