BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) – A new poll shows Congresswoman Julia Letlow with a slight lead in the Republican primary.

The new survey, conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, shows Letlow leading the full Republican primary ballot with 27 percent, compared to incumbent Sen. Bill Cassidy’s 26 percent and State Treasurer John Fleming’s 19 percent.

28 percent remain undecided.

If the race were between Letlow and Cassidy, Letlow would defeat Cassidy by 12 points, 46 percent to 34 percent.

“This poll reflects what we are hearing from voters all across Louisiana: they want strong conservative leadership that will fight for our state and protect our values. I am honored to have President Trump’s endorsement, and I am grateful for the broad support our campaign is building across Louisiana,” said Letlow.

A recent poll commissioned by the Cassidy campaign showed him with a double-digit lead.

A poll conducted in February showed Fleming in the lead.

The Fabrizio, Lee & Associates survey interviewed 600 likely Republican primary voters in Louisiana on March 11-12, 2026. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.0 percentage points.

So Fleming’s poll in February showed him leading, with all three candidates’ percentages in the 20s. Cassidy’s poll a couple weeks ago showed him leading. And now Letlow’s poll conducted a week ago shows her leading.

Polling should be against the law. Just go vote for who you want and not because a poll provides certain numbers. Do you want your rep legislating by polls?

Not me. Cassidy is a lying traitor, and Letlow will be Cassidy v2. Fleming is the best choice, but I'll take either over Cassidy. Screw that deep State prick

Julia can give whatever poll she wants to the media. I'm voting Fleming and hopefully Cassidy is cooked. I just hope it's not diluted down and Cassidy some how sneaks. He wouldn't have won last time if there was another option besides a D.

Against the law to get anonymous people’s opinions? Seems harsh.

Also ran Cassidy 14%

Who ever pays for the poll, gets the results they want to publish.
The ‘consultant’ conducting the poll win not get any repeat business if they do not provide the requested results.
They know who they working for.

Letlow's winning this election. Cassidy's spent millions trashing her because he's toast and desperate.

Fleming's conservative but as awkward as Cassidy. But he's too damn old to do this. We have a Senate full of elderlies and don't need more. Fleming's trashing Letlow because he's bitter about being snubbed by Pres. Trump after buying billboards all over the state featuring him and Trump.

These are the only reasons Letlow isn't running away with the election. Cassidy has to go away.

Louisianans are dumb. Two RINOs leading.

If no one gets a majority do they have a runoff between the top two?
