The exit needs to be at bluff road. This is the only way to fix highland exit traffic.

It’s not great, but it's not bad either. They need to extend Rieger Road to Highland somehow. Either have it connect to the road leading into Home Depot or to the Old Perkins road that leads to Barringer-Foreman. That is the biggest thing that could really alleviate the Highland traffic.

Make Rieger a feeder go to highlands, yes, but then put an HEB at the Picou exit.
You'll never wait through multiple cycles at highland again.

That concrete company is in the way, so they'd have to go over or around it somehow. They are already building a bridge for Rieger to cross Ward Creek, but not sure how much farther they plan to go. The old road leading toward Barringer-Foreman on the map (in the direction of Ruffino's) is long out of commission and pretty trashed and torn up, so they'd have to redo the whole thing.

Never gonna use it. There's traffic lights up there and too much space. Too easy, makes me suspicious.
I do appreciate the mile long off\on "ramps"

Eh. It's one of the few things the government has done recently that actually makes my life easier.

Bluff Road isn’t in EBR. Ascension needs to fix their own issues.

Love it. Don’t have to take highland when I go home. Just need the light at highland/Pecue now. Which I know may slow things down a little but will also prevent accidents. I’ll make that trade.

Why would East Baton Rouge pay for an exit in another parish? The exit was to help people to get to the other side of Baton Rouge as part of the Baton Rouge green light/MOVEBR program so a large amount of the funds came directly from EBR.
In any case, putting an exit at Bluff will never happen there isn't enough room and then you would have a huge bottleneck right there where it T's Old Perkins. You would literally have traffic stopped from that light all the way onto the interstate.
They do need another road between Highland and 73/Geismar. They have a bunch of undeveloped land that could shoot directly to 61 where the Mike Andersons is so it would be just south of 42 and just north of 73.

If you can't even spell a 5 letter road correctly your opine ranks at the back of the class.
But I believe those interchanges on the Pecue exit are too complex for the majority of BR area drivers(especially the drunks) and we will soon see a few brutal accidents there - even though these type of exits are working fine all across the country.

It was all land owned by the Pecue family so it's just their last name. There are also some people with the spelling of Pecou floating around.

Yep. Siegen was named by German settlers after a city in Germany. They also named Essen for a city in Germany.
I would love a coffee table book of how Baton Rouge roads were named.
