They don’t make a lot bc they do nothing to make it attractive. Tee boxes and greens are complete dog arse. Make it nice and ppl will come. Problem is they want cake and eat it without putting any effort.

Raise the mf green fees….make the course desirable enough to charge 50-100 per round and make it worth the money. The slap nuts that don’t have etiquette will stop coming as well… it’s a win win….

There really is not other option. There has to be 1 or 2 more courses added. Our golf in south Louisiana really is complete shite and getting worse tbh….cant get a tee time for a Wednesday morning?? Freaking ridiculous. Every course is booked up.

Maria has poa issues bc of the pathetic ground maintenance plan and upkeep. It will look like shite in 3 weeks and continue thru October bc no one will actually take care of it

Man am I just complaining or what, went to Carter today and my goodness it is not what it used to be. I remember playing there in college. Course always immaculate range top tier. And all the trees (especially down 18 fairway) made it feel like the beautiful secluded course. Not anymore unfortunately.

Santa Maria is a mismanaged shite hole. Marshals don’t do a GD thing!! They let randoms tee off and walk on ahead of people with tee times. Causing log jams. Don’t enforce course etiquette or pace of play.
God knows they put minimal money into maintenance and the bunkers are shite. It’s really sad tbh. Could be nice. Go play public golf in Bama or GA or FL. It’s fkn immaculate
