This is the exact reason why it’s a complete waste of time and money to try to save these people with “programs” and “resources”. They want to live like this. I grew up on the Westbank and this isn't shocking as insane of a statement as that is. These kids grow up being told to get theirs, they aren't men if they aren't "smashing," being a gangsta is what men do. Respect is wielding a gun. School is for nerds. F education. I get money on the streets.

The entitlement is out of this world. I remember at Gretna Middle School back in 2006 or so 5 13 year old girls being pregnant. It is a shame that stuff like this happens.
