Petri rags. They don't smell the way they do after a day or two for nothing.

Nylon brush, or paper towels here.

Let me guess, y'all used cloth diapers for the babies too, just because you had a washing machine?

I don’t know what it is about women that makes them leave wet dish rags in the sink but it seems to be a universal trait. It’s drives me absolutely insane. Those things start to stink after a few hours and I see red every the I see a wet rag in the sink.

Both, but my dad used to rip the paper towels up to make them last longer.

Now some are perforated.

He was well ahead of his time.

I’ve found that paper towels do a slightly better just of cleaning granite surfaces.

I’m a poor so I’d prefer wash cloths.

Grew up with a dish rag.

Now we have paper towels handy, but I use a hand towel for a day or two at a time to dry hands, and use for larger emergency spills.

Clorox wipes for the counters.

Couple of scrubbing options for the kitchen sink.

Growing up we had both. Dish rags for drying dishes (when we didn't use the dishwasher), paper towels for spills and such. Dish towels were tossed in the laundry after a week unless they got dirty or started hinting at mildew.

For wiping counters down, soapy but wrung out dish rag, followed by damp paper towel to wipe up the soapy water, then another paper towel to dry.

In my kitchen we do pretty much the same thing, except for counter cleaning we've moved to the Clorox wipes.

$50/mo?

Do you wash your countertops with the spray spigot and soak for days?

Just let it drip to floor and use a shop vac, man.

Are we talking about things to dry hands/objects or things to wash other objects? We use hand towels to dry, paper towels to wash… except for dishes. That’s a brush or a sponge. Dish rags sound nasty.

A bulk package from Sam's for $20 will last me a couple of months, you're doing something wrong.
