Do the right thing LSU…right the ship that F King and Tate were sinking…

Do it. The world needs ditch diggers too.

Alabama brought back ACT/SAT. LSU needs to follow suit

My daughter wants to go there in a few years. I don't want her to. My son was set to go, but changed his mind after visiting campus multiple times. I was relieved.
I say this as a 2 time graduate of LSU.

Help me out here. When you say no standardized testing.. Is this across the board? And what do they do instead?

A lot of universities made standardized tests optional for admission. Even having a score increases scholarship opportunities, but many students don't bother.

I really never understood how black folks weren’t embarrassed that standards were lowered to give more acceptance.

This is important. If you don't require ACT or SAT for admission, your university turns into a joke. President Rousse needs to get control of the sinking ship ASAP.

Sounds like a great world. White collar jobs are for pretentious queers.

Can you expound on this?
Why don’t you want your kids to go to your Alma mater?

not sure why some of you are actively pulling for this to happen. (AI to replace white collar jobs)

... because the lack of standardized testing has contributed to the declining standards overall.

I’m an outlier in that my kids are both currently enrolled at LSU. My oldest scored a 29 on the ACT and has struggled but has maintained about a 3.0 and will graduate this May. My youngest is a terrible standardized test taker and her highest score was a 21. She is finishing up her 2nd year and has had a 4.0 each semester.
Anecdotal but my experience.

Because college educated women are trending towards craziness.

My wife and I are both LSU Alums. Neither of our kids went there. LSU has lowered their admission standards thus lowering the caliber of the students on campus. Allowing less qualified students to simply satisfy a quota or agenda has lessened the university.

The Diversity Delusion - Heather Mac Donald
Best breakdown of what they have done to universities and high schools.
Certain groups score really really low even with all the advantages and still have the lowest graduation rate.

Because there is no need to pay expensive fees for a lot of tasks that are performed traditionally by lawyers, accountants, etc. A basic notary with some AI help can do a lot of their tasks. There are plenty of mechanics and technicians that can do some of an engineer's work with the added advantage of actual in field experience.
