Truly don't understand how anyone can consider themselves an "Independent" at this point

As long as there is a two-party system, I don't see how anyone with a functional brain can look at the Democratic Party and what they represent with all of their shenanigans and think "That looks like a plausible option for the future of our country"

Independent means neither party represents you.

They don’t. Which is why they’re independent.

The people voting D are increasingly more socialist in beliefs.

Democratic Socialists are just a stepping stone to Socialists.

The only reason they use Democratic is to fool the dumb.

The Republican Party's lack of desire to address Cassidy and get fully behind Trump, tells me they don't listen to their own party members. F the traitorous, do nothing, soundbite seeking, current Republican Party

Both parties are steaming piles of crap, it's actually easy to be independent.

Remember, you got young kids out there that don't want to work.. They want food housing insurance at the taxpayer exspense.

They have this utopian dream of surviving without working. And the Democrats promise them that.

Until the R’s do something about term limits, taxes and sending billions to foreign countries, I’ll remain an Independent.

Some people don’t want to support a party of authoritarian surveillance of citizens, forever war in the Middle East, government enforcing morality, legalized bribary, and zero accountability for sex crimes.

I'm independent. I will always vote for the best candidate for me. That just happens to mean, I've never voted for a democrat in my life and don't see myself doing so. Thus, all my votes have been republican by default.

I consider myself an independent. Last time I voted Dem was Obama’s first term. Voted 3rd party in 16/20 voted for Trump in 24. I see myself voting 3rd party again in 28. Both of the current parties are complete dog shite IMO. Living in Louisiana my vote doesn’t count as this state will always be red.

Just because someone is Independent doesn’t have to mean they ever consider voting for a Democrat candidate. Just like because someone is Independent doesn’t mean they ever consider voting for a Republican candidate.

I am an independent because I refuse to be in the same party as Mitch the Bitch Turtle.

Some people are blissfully ignorant. Republicans aren’t perfect but imagine voting for anyone associated with the democrat party.

No, you are right. An Independent is a Democratic who eats avocado toast with a venti-latte spritzed w/ soy milk, missing the WaPo's review of Best Sellers and who loves to tell people they decide who they vote for based on the issue.

It is only coincidental that their voting record is in full alignment w/ Jasmine Crockett.

Both parties currently require you to agree to certain lies to be a member. I don't want to embaress myself by pretending girls are boys, or constantly having to suck Trumps dick like some of you on this board feel compelled to.

Neither party represents me.

I was a former registered Democrat. I can no longer relate to the demons that run that party.

On the other hand, "republicans" are just controlled opposition that literally do NOTHING to stop the demon party from advancing. You can clearly see they are all corrupt and milking the producers.

If either party represented me, I would register under that party and vote. As of now, they don't, but I will also never vote for another Democrat again. These people are pure evil.
