Which national champion from the last 3 years was best?

2023 LSU, 2024 Tennessee, or 2025 LSU?
I think I’m going with 2024 Tennessee if I’m being totally honest. They had the best roster from top to bottom. No weaknesses in the roster. Pitching, hitting, and fielding were all great. They won the SEC regular season title, the SEC Tournament title, and the College World Series. They left no doubt that they were the best team in 2024.
I give them a slight edge over 2025 LSU.
1.) 2024 Tennessee
2.) 2025 LSU
3.) 2023 LSU

2024 Tennessee was a worse version of 2023 Tennessee, it's just that there was less competition at the very top of the college baseball world that year.
And since 2023 LSU took 4/5 games from 2023 Tennessee, it's clear they were better than 2024 Tennessee.

2023 is one of the best CWS fields ever, so 2023 LSU. That was a gauntlet.

There’s not a shred of evidence that you can find to support that.

I hate these comparisons, in any sports. The teams will never play each other, so we'll never know.
But who cares? They all have a NC trophy.

Each year is its own thing. One could easily argue that the 2023 LSU team had to beat the toughest teams to the title. Wake Forest, Florida, Tennessee.

That’s exactly the type of things that we discuss on online sports forums

Chase Dollander and Chase Burns were on the 2023 team. They weren't on the 2024 team.

2023 LSU smokes all of them I think. Take out Cruz and Skenes I think 2023 still wins a 3 game series. They just had so much fire power on both sides of the ball. 2025 was awesome, but it wasn't a "super team," they were just the best survivors in the NCAA tournament. I think 2025 was in a pool of maybe 10 teams of equal level that all could have won, 2023 it was us and Wake Forrest and then a HUGE drop before the next best team.

The dropoff wasn't huge. We had to beat the next three best teams in the country twice each to win that title. Which doesn't always happen on the way to a championship. But Florida and Tennessee weren't that far behind LSU and Wake Forest.

The 23 team won the CWS without Skenes pitching in the 3 games with UF in the finals. They also played a much better Wake and UF team vs Tenn playing Aggie and UNC. The UF blowout was Jay setting up for the final game which was 18-4. Tenn won their final 6-5.

The team with Skenes and Crews was the worst champion of the last 3 years? Doubt it

UF’s lineup was absolutely ridiculous in 2023. If I remember correctly they had the most HR that year. Absolute gauntlet running through Tenn, Wake, and UF.
Not to mention a pesky UK team in the supers.

To be honest, I don't know how anyone can beat 2023 Wake Forest.

That 23 LSU teams had to beat some great teams in Omaha to win it all. Have to give them the nod.

Is this a troll?
2023 is maybe the best college baseball team ever
If it's a 1 game series and we have Skenes going then they're absolutely the best ever
