7 is wild....I think it will be closer to 12-14 if not more. This team IS loaded, but it is still baseball and we will have some tough days

As I said in another post, if Jay doesn’t get to 60 wins with this roster, seat should be a little warm

I see this team having a 2009 type season.

We will get to 50 wins, but I can see us having no more than 15 losses.

They’ll lose 9-13 SEC games, 1-2 non conference, 1-2 SEC tournament and 1-3 through regionals, SR, CWS.

Call it 14 losses with a real natty shot again.

7? Holy shite that is absurd. I think 12 is a good benchmark for over/under.

14... and there will be some angst and hand wringing at some point in the season - always is - you can count on that, but in the end we should be well positioned for a CWS appearance.

Can this team reach 60 wins and repeat? Absolutely. But thinking that Jay's seat would be anywhere close to "warm" if 60 wins it is not reached is absurd. Our current record is 57 wins in 1997. We're going to win some we might not "supposed" to, but we will also lose some. Injuries, cold streaks, etc. will happen, it's baseball. No one is beyond criticism but I trust in the judgment and process that Jay has instilled. Once the post season starts, as long as we win the last game, overall records are just statistics. This year Jay can definitely bring us the biggest statistic, title number 9.

Losing only 7 total means you either win a minimum of 23 games in conference or more and drop a non conference game(s)

That ain't gonna happen in the SEC

10 is the floor, most likely. 15 is the ceiling IMO

I hope this is a bit of a joke. This is baseball we are talking about.

We have a very good team it appears that will do some damage in Omaha.

We also have a team that very well may lose a weekend series or get swept by a team we should not.

That is baseball.
