Can this team reach 60 wins and repeat? Absolutely. But thinking that Jay's seat would be anywhere close to "warm" if 60 wins it is not reached is absurd. Our current record is 57 wins in 1997. We're going to win some we might not "supposed" to, but we will also lose some. Injuries, cold streaks, etc. will happen, it's baseball. No one is beyond criticism but I trust in the judgment and process that Jay has instilled. Once the post season starts, as long as we win the last game, overall records are just statistics. This year Jay can definitely bring us the biggest statistic, title number 9.
