When they’re losing Fareed, we can infer that the tide is turning, and the ship is sinking.

Once upon a time, Los Angeles was one of the great cities of the world. Democrats and their policies have turned it into a third world shithole

LA you are correct. When people diss on Californians I sometimes relate a story about a biz trip to northern California. Im sitting at the hotel bar and had a discussion with a couple of guys working for some venture capital firms, during the .com era.

They were talking about a lot of the companies seeking funding, some incredible concepts, really neat ideas.

Then it drifted into politics. I mentioned how raising the minimum wage, bringing in millions of illegals.....is directly correlating to homeless and lack of jobs for young adults in Cali. Businesses just hire illegals off the books and the entry level citizens are the casualties. Their was a total disconnect with these fellas.

How can you be so smart in some ways and zero band width in another? But in their mind, my lack of knowledge regarding their dot.com concepts was the same regarding their view of politics, I just did not understand the California concept of how govt should work. They knew better.

I'm always disgusted when I see people making the statement "let's turn ________ BLUE!"

Like there's plenty of shades of blue States that are from the cusp of purple to deep blue one could go live in, yet ignoring the facts that people are leaving deep blue states in droves because they suck, let's turn this State people are moving to like the place we left.

fricking locusts, and their first vote has the same weight as my single vote.

100% accurate.

Flee the results of the policies they support and vote for...just to vote for them in the new place.

Adam is correct ... I'll give you proof.

Mayor Karen Bass was recently shown [on this board no less], shoveling asphalt to distract from the shite she's been shoveling over the past several years.

All that lesbian woman knows how to do, is mask the smell.

The discussions make me laugh because I had liberal family in California who moved to Japan because Cali is getting so bad, and others who are vigorously looking to get out of Colorado. And I really want to ask them if they correlate their voting with how things have gone

I just really despise them. I don't ever recall people on the right posting or saying Let's turn this State RED! They just advocate for better policy. The left will not advocate for policy because they can't defend it. That's why they stay in abstract ideals like "basic human rights" or "food security" that way that BS can be molded to fit their agenda.

Carolla's guest appearance on the All-In podcast is an excellent listen:

Men and Women are not the same. Maternal instinct guides women to be much more protective. Once entrenched into positions of leadership this leads to the over regulation of society by government i.e. "If this rule saves one child … ."

Of course, AC didn't say it as euphemistically as I just did .

I battle this concept locally on a weekly basis.

Not exactly true. Once the left gets a foothold, one of the first things they do is put in place an apparatus for voter fraud. So once they are in, there will be five votes to your one.

I love asking my lib friends if being conservative and living in a dark red area is so bad whey dont they move. I show them a map of the 2024 election of all the blue places. All shitholes in their eyes. I tell them they can get what they vote for in any of those areas.

Never really get an answer.

Blue cities are out of control, promising more, spending more, delivering less and pushing off fiscal problems to some future day.

Replace the words "blue cities" with "American government" and the statement is still accurate.

No matter who the President is, that still rings true. Think about that.

The main reason is the middle class have been priced out.

LA is a great place if you’re very wealthy or very poor. Not so much if you’re in the middle.

exactly. Its a simple phenomenon. Through out of control spending, political grifting, fraud, pandering, and waste you put undue cost and regulatory pressure on the populous. The freebies keep the bottom from fleeing and the wealthy can bear the brunt of it, but the middle simply flee to greener pastures. Inevitably the locusts go after the only tax base they have left; the wealthy and the business community. Now we see these folks leaving in droves too. California is in a death spiral.

I've never understood how people can actually convince themselves that raising the minimum wage and importing the third world are somehow good ideas.

Of course, too many immigrants are similar to Democrats in that they flee a bad situation and try to immediately recreate it here.

These questions are always funny. LA is the 2nd most populace city in the country. Who is flocking to Rapid City, ND?
