I figure this could be a worthwhile thread every Sunday evening to give a snapshot of where we stand amongst the conference and country.

In conference, Auburn was pretty impressive. Good for Tenner. Tex. A&M sweep was not impressive. They barely won game one, game two wasn’t good.

UCLA sweep pretty impressive.

SEC looking strong. Don't want to see USM in the Baton Rouge regional. We may see them in Omaha. Probably the best non-P5 team this year. Not sure why we don't play them in the non-conference season, would be good for RPI.

I'm assuming weather killed it and since it was after 5 innings, it counts as a game.

Appears as though Ostrander at Southern Miss might not only sustain their usual success but take them to another level.

TCU had a pretty strong opening weekend in Arlington. Depends on how much they weigh that into it

I watched their game versus Baylor once the LSU game was over. You know the will pitch.
